Drive systems for maritime, wind energy and industrial applications: The Liduro Converter for electric drive systems is distinguished by its high power density and protection level. All components of the liquid-cooled system are low2no maintenance products. They are designed for reliable operation in extreme ambient conditions and meet the highest requirements regarding lifetime, operational safety and efficiency. The AC/AC and DC-Bus multi drive systems have power ranges from 110 to 4,000 kW and are available as stand-alone and complete systems.
Liebherr has also been designing and manufacturing high-quality switchgear and control systems for around 70 years – safe, easy to maintain and highly functional.
As a development partner, Liebherr offers customised control cabinets. We manufacture one-offs, as well as small-scale and medium-scale quantities. We design these according to the respective requirements, such as a higher degree of protection or special installation dimensions. We also design customised automation solutions and electric drive systems for stationary and mobile applications.
Switchgear from Liebherr are used in diverse applications. Thanks to their extensive practical know-how and expertise, our specialists create custom-fit control cabinet solutions. These also stand the test in applications with adverse environmental conditions.
At the site in Biberach an der Riß (Germany), Liebherr develops and designs a wide range of complex control systems and control cabinets. The drive power installed in the control cabinets currently reaches up to 4,500kW. Here, Liebherr relies on roughly 70 years of experience in the low-voltage and medium-voltage range.
For over 50 years Liebherr has been developing and manufacturing efficient electric motors and generators for diverse customer needs.
